Sometimes what breaks you isn't the person who left. 
It's the life you imagined with them. 
The version of you who loved them so fully. 
The plans you made, the dreams you built together. 

The future that felt so real. 
It almost hurts more to lose it than the person themselves. 

You're not just grieving them. 
You're grieving the "what could have been." 

The version of you that believed in forever. 
That's why it takes so much time. 

You're not just trying to move on from someone. 
You are trying to rebuild the part of yourself that dreamed with them. 

And I know it hurts. 
I know it feels so unfair that you have to start over when you never wanted to.

They made a choice for you. 
You didn't make that choice. 
And it feels so heart shattering. 

But what if this isn't the end? 
What if it's just life gently reminding you that you deserve a future that will not fall apart. 

A future that stays and grows and chooses you back everyday. 

And I know. I know you'll get there slowly. But you will.

But please, remember what feels heavy now is shaping you into someone softer, stronger and more grounded.  You don't need to rush your healing or pretend you're okay.  Just keep showing up even gently.  The pieces of your life are still rearranging.  Even when you can't see it yet.  And one day it will all make sense.  And you'll realize that this chapter, this hard quiet chapter was the one that taught you how to truly live again.  You're doing better than you think.  I'm proud of you!  Just keep going!

Mataram: A Love Untold

 I rented a place on Senggigi beach. The beach was full of life and there were some beautiful creatures living in and out of the water. I went there with my friends by taking the bus. I hope I never lose you, hope it never ends. But now I lost you and you said it in a simple way. In the afternoon I was laying in bed with tears falling down my face.  How strange that I don't know you at all. Stumbled through the long goodbye. One last kiss, then catch your flight. Right when I was just about to fall. I told myself don't get attached. But in my mind I play it back. Spinning faster than the plane that took you. The bus and busy streets that never bring you back to me. I can't help but wish you took me with you. And when I took the bus suddenly I remember all the memories I had with you and that's the reason I will never take the bus anymore.

 I heard the saying "don't let your coffee get cool."  And honestly, I think I was the coffee.  I was there. I was genuine.  I was choosing you.  And you just took too long.  Too long to be sure, too long to see my value, too long to meet me where I was.  And by the time you realized I wasn't warm anymore.  I was already gone.
